You can use oils or acrylics for this course. The paints linked above are acrylics.

Required

Recommended quantity: 1× Titanium white acrylic paint
8 oz Titanium white acrylic paint. White is the most used color.
Recommended quantity: 1× Mars Black acrylic paint
4 oz Mars Black acrylic paint.
Recommended quantity: 1× Burnt Sienna acrylic paint
Recommended quantity: 1× Raw Sienna acrylic paint
Recommended quantity: 1× 30x40" stretched canvas
1 30x40" or bigger (unstretched canvas is also an option)
Recommended quantity: 1× Roll of primed, unstretched canvas
5-6 yards of 60-inch roll is recommended. How much canvas you purchase depends on the size of your painting area. If you have questions about how to create large art in your space, contact us. We're here to help.
Recommended quantity: 1× Paper Towels
Recommended quantity: 1× Cotton rags
For wiping brushes during oil painting.
Recommended quantity: 1× Palette paper
Blick Palette Paper Pad, 12 x 16 inches, 50 sheets. Can also use freezer paper, paper plates, etc.
Recommended quantity: 1× Masking tape
Recommended quantity: 1× Gloves
Choose gloves in your size.
Recommended quantity: 1× Set of soft hair paint brushes

Recommended quantity: 1× Cup for water
Recommended quantity: 1× Small airtight glass or metal jars for solvents
For oils. Recommended is linseed oil mixed with turpentine 50:50.
