Continue painting over your colorblocked underpainting of the landscape.
In your second layer, focus on lights and shadows - you can even begin to mention the differences in hue (some areas may be for example greener or redder). As a shortcut, you can move your brush in a variety of ways to suggest texture.
On your third layer, you can deliberately add texture (using a tiny brush or even your palette knife to paint/scratch the tiniest of leaves and branches).
