You can use the brand you already have, however, if you are buying your paints for the first time, we recommended “Liquitex Basics”, especially if you are on a budget. Liquitex Basics is high quality, highly pigmented, and large in size - a perfect brand for absolute beginners, that will allow you to achieve high saturation of color, with very nice viscosity, and enjoy generous and rich brushwork. If you want to get a more professional quality brand, we recommend Golden acrylics. This brand is more expensive and colors come in smaller tubes, but due to its highest pigment content, it is preferred by professional artists.
